HAPPY MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL TO EVERYONE!!

In the morning and afternoon, we did not have any cellebration mood as the school was so quiet because everyone had went home during the National Day. But who knows, all the fun began at night! Here's what we saw when we went out for our dinner.

Fireworks! It sounded like gunshots initially. I admit that i was shocked and i jumped at that moment.

And so, we got so excited after seeing the display of fireworks coming from our university. We decided to buy and to try it out ourselves. For the first time in my entire life, i saw fireworks right above my head and we can even hear things dropping onto the shelter during the fireworks. It was so loud and i was so scared! It was really just right above us!

Fireworks Shop near our school

The children play with sparkles. Just like what we will do back in Singapore. We will also play with boxes of candles in Singapre. But over here, the main attraction was to light the fireworks and no one played with candles.

All the explosives

This is the sparkles

So cool. Meteorite storm.

These are the huge fireworks. 100 Yuan for 24 shots.

Sorry for the poor video. I was so scared that i keep retreating back in the shelter. It was extremely loud and scary!
So nice!

Apparently, this was how the fireworks work. They will light the metal coated string still the flame leads to one to the firework in the box while we use this time to run as far as we can. Then, slowly all will shoot up simultaneously and then burst in the air. In the photo, we can see one shooting upward. The box of fireworks was on the ground.

This was also found in the fireworks stall. Firecrackers! But i don't see anyone lighting this up today.

All so excited over our purchase.

More fireworks!

This was what we bought. 2 fireworks for 50 Yuan and one bundle of sparkles for 10 Yuan.

And so, we are going to light these up in a few minutes time. Together with our mooncake, we are going to celebrate Mid-autumn festival on the peak of our university. Want to know more? Stay tuned...
