Had a shock of our lives when me and my roommate overslept and woke up at 7.22am when we are supposed to meet at 8 am. So we rushed like mad and we made it in time. Lucky us. And so we begin to head for breakfast. They rear pigs nearby the hotel. I heard that they feed the pigs all our leftovers. Geez. So unhygenic. By doing so, disease might spread easily.

This is how they dry the maize.

On the way to breakfast, we saw people carrying microphones and camera so we thought they were filming a show. But they suddenly came up to us and asked whether we like to do an interview. So as always, Daniel proudly agreed. And so they asked about the place and the food. Afterwhich, they asked if we would shout the name of the programme which was in English together. And so, we did. Lol. We will be on China television next week! Will try to video it down. Heex!

Alright so here’s our breakfast:

Next, we went up the mountain to some military zone. I think it is very cool that they have such a military base where the hills and mountains can help block their base from being attacked. They have all their weapons, army and horses up there. Unlike Singapore, where mostly is flat land. sure very easy to be attacked. The breeze up there was very nice though the weather is very hot. I think I become more tanned here than I was back in Singapore. Boo.. And ya, the locals do not think that I was from Singapore.

Ladybirds mating!

Ok, back to topic. So after that we went back to the bus and we found out from the driver that it is their law to sound the horn whenever they approach any sharp turn. This explains the irritating horn ever since yesterday. And my goodness, to them 200km which is at least 3 hours is not long at all. And so we told them about Singapore and they were shock to find out that Singapore is not even the size of their one town. Geez. Even I am shock that Wuhan alone is bigger than China.

Ok, so I slept through the whole journey and straight come back to use the computer. We went out to the vicinity in search of dinner. The food there is pretty good and I really like the wonton there. Their rice ball “soup” is made of rice wine with real rice inside. Hmmm.. Not my taste. But overall I had a satisfying dinner. Yay, I think I’m getting used to life here. But I still do not support throwing rubbish on the ground. I insist on throwing it into the bin. Maybe someday the locals will be influenced by me. Haha. Alright. Lesson starts tomorrow. See you!
