Alright. We were grounded for today because we were late last night. Crap. I always seem to get grounded overseas. Super boring man! So here I am, rushing out assignments, washing my clothes, sweeping the room..
The washing process was so hilarious as none of us had experience in it. We put lots of detergent, and wash till the whole floor was wet. Then we tie strings across the room to hang our clothes. But as girls, we did not squeeze our clothes dry enough so water dripped from all our bras! So end up, we brought our clothes down and let it dry under the sun in the public hanging-of-clothes area. The sun here is super strong and glaring. Nothing like autumn at all. I felt cheated as i thought it was supposed to be autumn and so I only brought one shorts. Sigh.
So anyway we had a campus tour this morning and we saw our classroom. Wow. It’s either we choose to have a classroom with projector or with internet. Cannot be both. And so, we had the classroom with no internet. Plus, no aircon. Plus, the school is very dirty. Okok. I shall not complain anymore. Everywhere is like that in china and I will get used to it soon. And ya, there’s a bus to bring us to our classroom building for 1 yuan. Cheap, but I feel that I am running out of money soon after buying all the food, water, telephone card, memory card and taxi fare. So maybe it will be a better option to walk eh? We shall see..

There’s a talk later at 9pm tonight for our river rafting tomorrow. We will be staying out of the campus for tomorrow night and only come back on Sunday noon. So i will be internet-less again. I think I come here sleep more than I ever sleep at home due to the poor connection of internet or even no internet connection. VPN connection is only limited for 6 hrs/day and at night when everyone is using, I can’t even connect! Geez.
Ok so anyway, today is just touring around campus and staying in the dorm. Being grounded isn’t fun at all… But at least we had fun washing clothes together. Through this, i felt even more bonded with my friends.
