Today’s main activity was team bonding and high elements games. We were greeted by some army officer and we were instructed to stand in 4 rows. We were treated as though we are from army – turning left and right upon commands. Though we didn’t like to be treated this way, we totally enjoyed the activities which were prepared for us.

The first activity was some team bonding games. My group consists of all the 18 pharmacy science students. We are supposed to make costumes for out tribe from newspapers – no glue or additional materials. And so, my group name is called the Malay tribe because only our group had Malay students. Here’s our flag:

We designed this flag because the character looks like our teacher. Agree? Haha! It's super cute.

And here's our costume. We were figuring how to join two newpapers together without tapes. suddenly, i remembered that i was chewing gum and so i took it out of my mouth and used it like a blue tack. I'm so proud of my contribution to the group. Haha. Soon after, we were passing gums around calling people to chew so that we can have the sticky gum.

Brenda, Jasmine and I are all the king's concubine. Here's our costume.

This is our guy team members. They are wearing some disgusting underwear. Haha.

They still crush balls of papers and put it inside so as to make the underwear protrude out. Crazy people.

We had to perform a short skit with our costumes.

Afterwhich we went for the high element games. First stop was this activity:

Trust fall. However, this was done differently from what was done in Singapore. Overhere, the person falling would have to have their hands and legs tied. And there would be a person pushing the person down instead of the person falling himself. In my opinion, this is much more scarier.

This was the second activity. We are supposed to climb up to the plank on top and have to walk and jump to the plank on the other side. It is an activity to challenge your mind. Seriously, i felt scared even when i was climbing up the ladder. I stopped on top for quite long before i managed to jump across. Scary!

Lunch was at 12pm and so we went out of school to try new food. My friends had cravings for steamboat and so we went to try it out.
This shop seal their utensils for every customers. But for this, we have to pay 1 Yuan each.

This was used to heat the streamboat. It looks like some relic found in the museum right?

We ordered 2 steamboat. One was the fishball steamboat and the other was pork rib steamboat (shown in the photo above). It was very nice but as usual - oily. The fishball in Wuhan is different from Singapore as it is softer and has fish bones in it. I prefer the fishball in Singapore because of the bouncy texture.

Usually restaurants will give free supply of rice. However, the rice seems to be recycled from those left over from the other customers tables.

After lunch we resumed our high element activities. We tried rock-climbing. What's different in Singapore is that the belaying system is only controlled by 2 person (2 strong army guys). In singapore, we have at least 4 person in the belaying system. Anyway, it had been a long time since i last rock-climbed. So, i had lots of fun trying to challenge myself to climb higher.

I look like spiderman eh?

This guy was the only one who managed to climb up to the top. Rock climbing relied more on leg strength yet that guy used mainly arm strength to pull himself up. But still, i put my hands down to him. It really isn't easy to reach to the top.

End of all the activities

Today's a tiring day. Shall rest early. Good night!
